Smart PDF Creator Pro is a typical PDF creation utility. What I like about this one is that the GUI is simple and looks good. There are two tabs: one for converting to PDF and another for converting from PDF. Supported output formats are DOC, HTML, RTF, TXT, XLS, JPEG and TIFF. We can even add more files while the conversion is running.
PDF security can be implemented in the form of setting a password for opening a file, editing, or printing. Customizable settings are also available for Word, HTML, Excel documents, and JPEF, TIFF pictures. Explorer shell extensions are added for quick converting a file through its context menu. We also get a virtual printer that we can use from any program to "print" documents and projects into PDF files.
Those who cannot afford Adobe Acrobat may want to try this software - especially the standard version as it costs just half as much the pro version. The only difference between the two is the extra MS Word toolbar.
The Trial version includes watermarks in the PDF files it creates. In addition, the number of pages for conversion from PDF is limited to 3.
